Baby Tulip
Cardigan - We have made this
cute little sweater into a convenient
kit for easy and affordable knitting.
The brilliant colors and strip pattern
make this little garment a show stopper.
Supplies: 1 Kit and appropriate needles
to gauge.
Beginning Knit (1 session) - This
class will cover how to cast on and
learn the knit stitch. This class is
just the basics. Supplies: size 10
needles and 1 skein of bulky weight
yarn.
Beginning Knit (3 sessions) - This 3
week class will cover cast-on, bind-off,
knit and purl stitch, joining new yarn
and weaving in the tails. Class project
is a scarf. Supplies: Size 8 or 9
needles (straight or circular) and 200
yards of worsted weight, light colored
yarn.
Crochet
101 - In this 3 hour class you will
learn how to Chain, single, double and
triple crochet. You will learn bring all
your new found skills together to create
beautiful crocheted flowers. Supplies:
size “H” hook and light colored worsted
weight yarn.
Felted
Flowers - Embellish your handbag,
hat, scarf or jacket with these fabulous
felted creations. Supplies: small
amounts of various colors worsted wool,
US 7 or 8 needles
Felted
Lariat - Learn to knit this
beautiful felted lariat for your neck or
place on a package. This is another
great holiday item. Supplies: #8 DPN, US
8 and 2 colors of worsted wool.
Finishing 101 - In the two hours you
will learn the proper way to seam your
knitted garments. When you know how to
do it correctly, it is actually fun! We
will also go over how to pick up the
right number of stitches for button
bands, neck lines etc.
Prerequisites: Cast on, bind off, knit
and purl.
Supplies:
- Yarn, same as swatch
- Yarn, contrasting color, so you
can see it.
- Swatches
- Blunt tapestry needle
- Crochet hook
Homework:
Choose a single color yarn, make two 4”
swatches in stockinet stitch, bind off;
make two 4” swatches in stockinet
stitch, do not bind off (bring to
session on needles)
You may also want to bring a project
that needs to be seamed up. After the
initial introduction to the different
methods, I will be happy to assist you
as you embarking on seaming your
projects.
** If you have not blocked your garment
pieces, you may want to purchase
blocking wires, they are available here
at the store. The process of blocking
becomes very easy and quick.

course. You will learn to cast on, knit,
purl, join new yarn and bind off as

So you know how to knit and purl. Now
What? Join us for this class where we’ll
learn several methods of increasing and
decreasing..how to spot mistakes and fix
them, different ways to cast on and many
other techniques that will make your
knitting time easier and more fun.

needles for flat swatches and swatches
in the round (so DPN’s or magic loop)

Sock
Club - This is a knit along for
everyone who is a member of the Sock
Club. We will knit our socks together
and finish! We will meet the first and
third Thursdays, 7-9 pm, at Tully's
Coffee in downtown Pleasanton.

opportunity for you. We can help and
answer any questions. We are offering
time slots of 15mins for $10 between the
hours of 10-2pm. You are welcome to sign
up for multiple time slots.
