get second sock syndrome? Here is your
answer! This class teaches the popular
magic loop method knitting both socks at
the same time....
3-Week
Beginning Knit - This is the
class for a new knitter or someone who
needs a refresher course. You will learn
the long tail cast-on, knit and purl
stitch, joining new yarn and binding
off. We will also go over gauge, reading
labels and reading a basic pattern.
Beginning Drop Spindle - Now's your
chance to learn to spin fiber into yarn.
You will create enough yarn to make a
scarf in this class. Space is limited to
8 people.
Beginning Knit - This is a
crash course on how to Cast On, Knit and
Bind Off.
Create a Summer Shell - In this
class we will customize a shell pattern
especially for you.
Crocheted Bag
- Use you crochet skills and let's make
a cute summer tote bag.

measuring and blocking, shoulder, side
and armhole seams, different trim ideas
Prism

or Light Stuff and Muench's Touch Me.
This shawl is a perfect accessory for
cool spring and summer evenings. Any
beginner knitter who can cast on, knit

Sit N Knit–
Come join us for our regular social
gathering where we work on current
projects (2nd and 4th Thursday of the
month).
Sock
Club - This is a knit along for
everyone who is a member of the Sock
Club. We will knit our socks
together and finish! We will meet the
first and third Thursdays, 7-9 pm.
Techniques: Double
Pointed Needles - Amaze your friends
and awe strangers as you expertly
wrangle 4 or 5 little needles while
knitting a sock or sleeve, just don’t
tell them the secret – that it’s not as
hard as it looks! Knitting with double
pointed needles (DPNs) is an excellent
skill to have, even if you prefer other
methods of knitting small tubes.
There’s no shifting of cables and
pushing stitches onto needles, just Zen
knitting around and around…plus, it
looks dangerous and cool! During this
techniques class we’ll get started on a
simple project of fingerless gloves that
will keep your wrists warm so you can
knit some more!
Materials: One
skein of worsted weight yarn that you
like (Malabrigo is great), One set of size 7
wooden DPNs (5” or 6” length), 1 yard of waste
yarn in a similar weight, but
contrasting color
Teddy
Bear - An adorable knit Teddy Bear
and sweater, great Christmas or baby
shower gift, and so on.
Sampler
Beanie - This beanie will teach you
a variety of different stitches all in
one project. Super simple and fun.
Slip
Stitch Washcloth - Learn to
make this washcloth with two different
colors of yarn using the slip stitch
method. Great gifts!
